Pre revolution Russia and future of the West

Ivan Tourgueniev highlights a very good point in Fathers and sons when, through Eugene Bazarov, he subtly asks the reader what can be done to Russia for it to modernize and compete on the world stage. The older generation, to whom were given the future of Russia just think that a little liberalism à l'anglaise would be enough : they have some faith in their own people. But Bazarov thinks radically differently, he must tear down every fabric that makes up Russia society : traditions, sentiments, history, names, etc... And find at the bottom, much like Descartes, an intangible base upon which Russia must be rebuilt piece by piece meticulously; Bazarov hints at the base being "Science". I personally think he's wrong in his approach BUT science is that virgin field that no ideology dared to cultivate, effectively a land on no maps, all people see in it is a golden cow to which they bow and force it to say what they want to hear. As Abraham melted the golden cow and went up Mount Sinai, we must tear down the current academia and political grip it has on science and pave a new ideology, beyond a third way, where we can let science bloom (much like the way the ancient greeks tried). A prophet of the new age must come forward, a Pythagoras of today, whose intellect can freely grasp all that lives in the plane of non-words, beyond the namable reality set forth by Adam. Anyways, these were (very) quick thoughts so I ask you how do you wish to create a new society ? Addendum: Verily, we are coming to an end of democracy; the ripples that showed the rotting of the monarchy in 18th century France and how the revolution was necessary for the survival of France are discreetly showing again in the West. What will you do Chud ? What do you envision for yourself and your kind ? Will you let your country rot from within ? Or will you tear it down yourself and rebuild it ? TRVMP bought you a few more years Chud but the Beast is waking up....

I think a perfectly designed AI would be a better ruler than any human, at least thats what I took away from the Scythe series of books by Neal Shusterman. Every human can eventually get corrupted, and even in democracy a bad apple spoils the bunch as it takes just one corrupt leader to topple the tower. But AI can manage everything with 100% efficiency & morality because its brain can be expanded infinitely. Theoretically an AI could feel empathy and be kinder than any human ever could, as well as be uncorruptible. The only problem is every human has biases so a man-made AI would have the flaws of Man. Really interesting question though!

I mean if I could rebuild society, with changing personality of people, then maybe a star trek type society.
