They gotta bounce!
Sometimes, Realism and Making sense doesn't always to be together, Adult/Ecchi are part of realism, but does it make sense to be in a story that's include Tragedy, Gore, and Slice of Life? An actual deep and complicated story? Does it makes it any good or bad?
They gotta bounce!
it's like a spice for the story, of course they'll include that, especially in the tragedy, gore, and slice of life. good or bad depend on how the mangaka put that in the story, sometimes it feel pointless for the plot, sometimes it's fulfilling
As long as Ecchi is not too much its fine. Too much fanservice ruins enjoyment for me. Its just a cheap way for engagement. If the entire plot of the anime centers around ecchi then its just trash anime.
Manganime are products of Japan where adult content regulations are,,, lax at best. From their perspective it's just another panel (scene) or two, but for readers from stricter culture it might be annoying. If I put my foot on their shoes, hey porn/ porn-adjacent sells a lot, so why not?
Ecchi always makes sense in the plot. And if it doesn't then who wouldnt mind anyways? Free tits
