holy peak... this is the first manga ive binge read in nearly a year. the storyline of this manga is unlike anything ive ever read before and the development phos from pure innocence to someone who began questioning things to a monster hungry for revenge was so well done. My heart was hurting seeing what phos had become and her fight with Cinnabar near the end legit made a tear fall from my eye. The rest of the supporting characters in this series were wonderfully written as well - none of the gems were filler characters I could say so much more but i'll just say again, absolute peak. GO READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T

I was reading Houseki for a few years and even suffered the great hiatus. It was one of the best experiences I had while reading manga. I haven't lost the hope that when studio orange finishes with Beastars we could have a second season for the anime. Phos is a top 3 manga characters of all time. Ichikawa-sensei made a masterpiece and more people should know about it.
