this review is courtesy of reizen, they were the one who recommended me this manga, its my first ever shoujo manga so i didn't really know what to expect other than seeing good looking men 24/7.
Synopsis:
For hearing-impaired university student Yuki Itose, silence has been a natural part of life since birth. Her world is small and isolated; she commutes to campus, interacts with her best friend Rin Fujishiro, and communicates through writing and text messages—a lifestyle that offers little to no change. One day, during her commute, Yuki meets fellow student Itsuomi Nagi, a multilingual travel enthusiast and friend of Rin. When Itsuomi learns of Yuki's condition, he takes it in stride, moving Yuki's heart. From this one simple gesture, Yuki and Itsuomi's lives start changing day by day as they let each other into their own worlds.

this manga has some great art, everyone in this manga is just a 10/10, everything is so nicely drawn and the mangakas style is just amazing, but some times id get confused on who is who, especially in flashbacks or whenever a character has black hair they almost look identical. other than that when the art needs to hit, it hits some of those spreads and especially those colored drawings need to be put up in an art museum
Plot: 8/10
at the start i wasnt really hooked on the story, it was just a deaf girl experiencing what it is to fall in love for the first time and a guy opening up and falling in love, but i cant lie as i kept reading and got to know the entire cast and how their lives clashed i just couldnt stop reading the mangaka took this manga in a great direction
Characters: 8/10
same issue with the plot they just felt generic just 2d tropes walking around - the sweet shy girl, the cool mysterious guy- almost felt like "a silent voice" but just without the bullying and bland characters, and then i kept reading and i just fell in love with the entire cast, there is only one couple i dont really care about and thats why its an 8 and not a 9 or a 10. (spoilers) the relationship between shin and emma i just cannot really care about them and i just skim whenever they appear, tho i do like shin cause he did advise my boy oushi my favorite character has to be oushi if anyone wanted to know

i did really enjoy the manga and it might be now one of my favorite romance stories i cant give it a ten because i just cant this manga is intended for the female audience and i am just not a girl (6'4 shredded btw, hit my wall up), even tho i really like this manga when main couple does something i just feel like i am getting violated by itsuomi (main guy), ignoring that i think this manga nails emotional build-up really well making it an amazing story to read
Final Rating / TL;DR: 8.5/10 (will stay caught up)
An amazing love story with a really strong cast i highly recommend this to anyone who likes the romance or shoujo genres and if you havent tried a shoujo manga yet give this a try
started my shoujo arc now so look forward to me talking about good looking men again, thank you again reizen for the recommendation
