I wrote this back in the day when I was ragebaiting: Blue Lock is one of the most popular sports manga because it attracts people who want to see aurafarming, not quality. The MC is a faggot, and doesn't realise that his only talent is calling people "shitty", and can only shoot volleys, making him just a one-trick phony. Isagi Yoichi's story from the bottom to the top is interesting to see, but the way it's executed makes you just cringe. Bros are playing the game like it's actually take them to the world stage, when it just looks like fuckin kids from kindergarden kicking balls with no idea what they're doing. Also, it's EDGY as hell. From the fifth game onwards the characters develop some kind of "aura" around them, for example Rin who has some fuckin monsters from Berserk behind him while he's flailing his tongue around like a tiktok pick-me slut. Like, you guys, JUST PASS THE FUCKIN BALL, IT AIN'T THAT DEEP.
