WARNING: MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS, idk. SNAFU completed. Damn, it really was one hell of a ride. I was looking for a wholesome romance, and I got what I wanted, but a hell of a lot more. Maybe the most deep and complex romance anime I've watched, so deep that I struggled to keep up with it at times TwT... All the characters possess real depth, I wish we could've delved more deeply into some of them, especially Hayato and Totsuka, never really got to know much about them, did we? I can't read between the lines like Hikitani, I need some clear answers... Gaahh, I DESPISE love triangles, but I have to say that this one was handled very, very well. If I became a writer, I would NEVER write a love triangle, unless I really wanted to kill my readers. It just feels so cruel, especially when the girl who gets rejected in the end has MORE SCREEN TIME than the main love interest. What the hell is that, that's messed up, man. Though things are sometimes exaggerated, (no avoiding that when trying to make a romance story that's meant to move people, I guess) it was 110% worth the watch. I do have some complaints, though, which I will present. Complaint #1 No screen time for Totsuka. He really was pushed aside and made irrelevant, wasn't he? Goddamnit...! You expect me to forgive it and let it go?! You introduce a femboy that is literally calling the MC's name in his sleep, and you don't take him seriously at all as a character? There was literally just one, ONE actually serious dialogue between the two. Making a cutie like him into a comedic relief character, absolutely UNFORGIVABLE... Complaint #2 I know that it's kind of the point, but no one disagrees with the fact that Yui deserved Hikigaya more than anyone in the series. She really went through hell because of the two idiots. AAAARGHHH!! TS PMO SO MUCH MAN, GUHHH... Don't take this complaint seriously... Complaint #3 Fooled you, this isn't a complaint, rather it's singing praise. SNAFU is great, man, it's great. Makes you giggle, cry, punch your screen, grin like an idiot, all at the same time. Give it a watch or a read in case you've not.
