How come the world view on Israel vs. Palestine suddenly shift in the recent years? As someone who came from a country with muslim as a majority, It's already a common knowledge for people of my country to see Zionist as the "antagonist" of the two. Not only that, our country always condemn what Israel do and make sure to reject any relationship with Israel (something our current country leader weirdly breaks). I also recognize how the world (especially country from the west) try to make a distance when it comes to the conflict of both country. Either people loudly support what Israel has done, or they stay in silence. Only a small amount of public figures (that I know) brave enough to say they stand with Palestine. But in the recent years, it felt like the norm has been switched and the common became uncommon. How come years of propaganda that Israel able to hold suddenly crumble only and only in the recent years? I truly wonder what the catalyst is. And also, if you don't support what I support, let's just agree to disagree. I don't want to take the moral high ground or anything like that, like always, I just want people to answer the question from their pov.
