What if

What if the scientifically solution we come with to everything is actually fitting itself to our perception? What if whatever people believe is the solution to a problem is only the solution because we think it is but there could have been other solutions too, if we thought these others were the real solutions? I know this just gibberish and doesn’t make any sense and has like a 0.00001% of being true. I just wanted to hear your opinions on this subject since my head thought about it the whole evening.

Science is just hypothesis which is universally agreed upon

Science is built on conventions, not absolute truth.

Isn’t that how science works? It’s right because everyone accepts that it’s right. If I convinced everyone that Nep was actually a grand leader sent to save us all along, everyone would believe it and it would be accepted as right, and as always having been right. In the grand scheme of the universe, it might not be right, but in our own perception of known reality, it would be the only plausible explanation.

i know this might not be a serious post but i would highly recommand reading Science and Hypothesis by the great Poincaré where he touches upon exactly what you're "worrying" about

What if anything? What if a bomb drops on your head right now?

our knowledge might be constrained by how humans perceive reality our brains evolved for survival not necessarily for perfectly understanding the universe.

Well, is there anything else we could do? We only see things from a human perspective, after all.
