Affection is inefficient. It convinces people theyre stronger together, when in reality, it just gives them more to lose. A single variable (another person) and suddenly your decisions aren’t your own anymore. You hesitate. You compromise. You fail. People call it connection. I call it a predictable weakness. If someone matters to you, they become leverage. If no one does… there’s nothing to exploit. In the end, affection isn’t useless because it has no value it’s dangerous because it has too much. That’s why I don’t rely on it. Control is simpler.
