For the love of God, please it's only been two episodes and people are ALREADY saying that he's a Gojo ripoff. Mind you, Witch hat atelier was released in 2016, while Jujutsu kaisen came out in 2018, so how on earth is he a rip-off? People are only saying this because Gojo got animated first and became insanely popular, but that doesn’t mean every white-haired or mysterious teacher character is suddenly copying him. Qifrey existed YEARS before Jujutsu kaisen even started, and his character was already fully established in the manga.I get that Gojo reached the spotlight of animation before Qifrey, and that Jujutsu kaisen is way more popular, but that doesn’t automatically make him the “original” of everything. Personality wise: Personality-wise, Gojo is written to be insufferable and ridiculously full of himself (which is absolutely justified given how strong he is), and that’s exactly what makes him so popular and entertaining. He’s cocky, playful, and knows he’s untouchable. QIFREY, ON THE OTHER HAND, is kindhearted in every way possible. He’s calm, soft, and incredibly patient. He actually takes the time to raise and guide his students, and he genuinely cares about their well being. He’s basically father material. Gentle, supportive, and protective in a completely different way. Like the only surface level similarity is maybe the “mentor with a mysterious vibe” thing, and even that is such a common trope in anime and manga that it’s not unique to either of them. Literally every character who happen to be a teacher is like that. I swear people see one trait and immediately start yelling “rip-off” without doing even the bare minimum of checking facts. I should just go sleep not gonna lie. 3am rants is the most random things to ever pop in your mind. it's never that deep.

tho i'd agree that everyone calls white-haired characters "Gojo clone" nowadays like what they did with Gojo being a "Kakashi clone" or every black haired characters being a "Sasuke clone"
