Just wondering how ppl feel about it. Personally I do feel bad sometimes, not enough to not pirate though. At the moment I just don't have the money to indulge in the media I like (queue sad song on the worlds smallest violin) so until then I'll keep pirating but I do hope when I'm empl*yed I can pay for at least the smaller series I like so the mangakas can eat. So overall I do feel a bit bad and when I can pay I will but atm I'll just buy manga every so often when I have the money to but prob not regularly. however idgaf abt pirating western shit that isnt indie. No, I'm poor. Right now, there is an ongoing fight involving piracy (Some Japanese users are mad that foreign people pirate their content) mainly started by foreigner donuts emailing the authors themselves to change the story is objectively stupid. Piracy is objectively bad, but the Japanese and other piracy bad bad bad people should be more understanding of the situation of foreign pirates ; we can't access the sht and if even we can in our country, in my country it's expensive af, it costs a week of unhealthy but survivable meals or three days of good healthy meals. Again, I'm poor so I don't care. Still, these entertainments are the reason why I won't ever want to die. When I actually become financially stable, I will buy the mangas I want to read and support.
Yeah I do especially for games. Mainly because I enjoy playing indie games, That's why I keep a list of every indie game I've played to purchase them later when I have the money.

No. If I like the work an author made I can retroactively give them monetary support. However, I have no problem reading stuff for free to find out whether or not I actually want to instead of gambling on how much I'll enjoy a story.
