10 years ago manhwa was so rare and really niche stuff, now when I see on the recent releases I feel like most 70% to 80% of them are manhwas. While I like that independent artists are getting their own spotlight without needing an publisher, I legit hate koreans and their vapid superficial view of the world. Japanese are not saints but I do much prefer the Japanese sensibility and writing over most of the shit koreans pull out. really makes me wonder how the industry will look like in 10 years if that's the works that are influencing new writers now.

I got into manga after reading a bunch of manwha. I think manwha has a better format to attract new readers because it's colored and has mobile accessibility despite the stories and art being worse in quality.
