Recently saw a post on the gc about the war involving Israel and Palestine. I am an absolute idiot. In an attempt to continue building my "positive" persona, I made a comment supporting the person who made the post, due to the fact that he was drawing a lot of negative emotions to his post. The truth is, I failed to realize how horrifying, terrible, and out right gruesome the entire topic was. I never want to do that again. I just want to read manga and talk with good people. Even after reading further, I personally don't think I can even begin to form a proper opinion. You can hate me for that. And I'm sorry.

While the og post was really insensitive what he was saying was kind of correct to a certain degree. While getting the truth out is important and educating others, spreading word to build support with like charities and stuff, having daily conversations about Israel vs Palestine is extremely unhealthy, just spreading negative emotions without helping anyone.
