If u have a credit card or access to a credit card and if its an international one high chances u can register it on dragon pass for some free lounge visits in airports. Long layovers can sometimes be worth the cost saved if the layover is at an airport thats cheap. Overnight stays at a hotel there should save u money as compared to booking an expensive flight with less layovers/time
