When did Demon Slayer Manga Ended?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Manga has reached its climax in the 23rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and ended with chapter number 205 in this years’s 24th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Monday. That is, 18th of May marked the end of Demon Slayer manga. It may be saddening for many fans that the manga that recently got popular and became their favorite has ended so soon. But, let me re-state what Batman said in “The Dark Knight”:

“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain

It is good, that the story had a goal from the very beginning and has ended once the goal was achieved. If one tries to overstretch the story, introduce several subplots which has no contribution in continuing the actual story-line, then such stories lose their motive and just become a cash grab for the big companies. One such example is One Piece, the story seems to have lost its main motive, and now it wanders here and there with no actual continuation in the main story, and even if it does exists, it is too slow to digest.

So Demon Slayer ending at the right time is a good thing to happen, you can just re-watch/read Demon Slayer anytime you want, and enjoy your favorite series. I’m sorry, but I won’t be writing any spoiler from Demon Slayer manga chapters.

Demon Slayer Spin-off – Rengoku Gaiden!

In May 2020, after the main series finished, a spinoff titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Gaiden illustrated by Ryōji Hirano and centered on Kyōjurō Rengoku, was announced to be released.

The spin off will focus on Rengoku Kyojuro as he is a fan favorite, and also least focused after Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Train Arc. Also, it is a good way to boost the excitement in the fans for the upcoming movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Train”. It will be a side story, in fact, “Gaiden” literally mean “Side Story”
