Drifters Season 2 Updates : Is it Delayed?

Drifters Manga Series gained Popularity in 2016 with its 12 Episodes Anime Adaptation by Hoods Drifters Studio. The Samurai Action Seinen Fantasy became a success and widely acclaimed Anime because of its mature and exciting storytelling and moments.

Even after the 4 years of the first season, the series still has a dedicated group of fanbase waiting for its return. The anime turned off in the End of 2016 and also hinted a squeal But that hint never actually lead anywhere..

But Fortunately, the series has been teasing the fans lately. The squeal for the Drifters anime has been officially confirmed. But a release date is still in far distant than our expectations. The first Season had ended hinting the sequel and while doing so, The following Text were flashed “See you. Tokyo 20XX Sayonara“

By saying “20XX” The studio basically stated that the Anime will return in 20’s but Which Year of 20’s? we might have to wait until 2099 to find out (Just kidding).

The Anime might return before at least 2023. once the manga has enough material for studios to take over. Drifters Manga is an Ongoing Action Fantasy series written and illustrated by Mr. Hirano Kouta. The Manga began serializing in 2010 in Young King OURs Monthly Seinen Magazine. as of now The manga has six volumes in circulation and will likely add another installment until at least 2022.
