Basic Plot of The Promised Neverland

The Promised Neverland or Yakusoku No Neverland is the popular 12 episode shonen anime adapted from the manga of the same name by Kaiu Shirai which surprised everyone with its Death Note vibes in 2019. It was thrilling, suspenseful, with a lot of twists and turns, and a really compelling antagonist “Isabella”. Isabella is a kind and loving mother on the outside, and a messenger of the devil on the inside. She is raising a number of small kids in an orphanage, as they continue to live in their sweet little “La La Land”. One fine day, they discover the truth of the orphanage, that they are supplying children to demons to be eaten as their dinner.

The smartest of the kids Ray, Emma and Norman decide to flee from the orphanage along with other kids and have their freedom, as the orphanage was no less than a jail. Will they succeed? Will they be able to get out of the orphanage? What kind of hurdles are waiting for them outside?

Well, we hope most of us make it out of the current pandemic safely without falling victim to it. All we can do right now is yell and shout “Go Corona, Corona Go”.

The second season of The Promised neverland was all set to release this year in October, but due to the huge impact of Coronavirus on the daily human life, it has been delayed! Such a sad news for the fans who were so eagerly waiting how the story will progress further.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Release Date

The second season of The Promised neverland was all set to release in October 2020 along with the epic Action-Battle shonen anime “Attack On Titan”. Although Attack on Titan has showed no signs of a delay, but The Promised Neverland fans are not that fortunate. Their favorite show is delayed yet again. Initially it was delayed from July 2020 to October 2020. But now it has been delayed further.

The official Twitter account for Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu’s The Promised Neverland manga announced on Thursday that the premiere date of the second season of the television anime adaptation of the manga has been pushed back from October 2020 to January 2021 due to the effect of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the production.

The anime will now premier in January 2020. The fans will have to wait a little longer. Those who cannot wait to find out what is going to happen next should read its manga.

Should You Read the Manga?

We will absolutely recommend you to read the manga, It is going to enter its final arc real soon.

Shirai said The Promised Neverland would not “extend too much” further. In fact, the manga would end with an ideal 20-30 volumes.

So, this is a high time, if you don’t want to wait in a world where no one is safe enough to find out the end of their favorite anime/manga, that you read the manga. It is about to end, and this is just the right time.
